Tonight: Peabody Students and Faculty Present “Classical Meets Improv at the Unitarian Church”

12963875_10209150568072337_8153454953588027500_nPeabody students will present “Classical Meets Improv at the Unitarian Church” on Friday, April 8 at 8:00pm at First Unitarian Church in Baltimore. The program features Esprit Quartet – comprised of students Daisy Rho, violin, Ryo usami, violin, Ankit Anil, viola, and Ethan Sandman, cello – performing Haydn’s String Quartet No. 1 in G Major; The Witches – comprised of students Ledah Finck, violin, and Louna Dekker-Vargas, flutes – performing improvisations and later joining students Alex Fournier, bass, Christina Manceor, percussion, and Nick Saia, electric guitar in the world premiere of Dr. Construction and (OR?) Ms. Multicolored Flower by Dominic Coles; and Carl Maria Von Weber’s Trio for Flute, Cello, and Piano performed by faculty artist Michael Kannen, cello, and students Seungmin Oh, flute, and Rieko Tsuchida, piano.
