Preparatory students Grace Carney, violin, and Luka Stefanovic, cello, have been selected to participate in the Reinecke Youth Chamber Music Competition and Fellowship Program by the Chamber Music Society of Maryland. The fellows will be mentored by the Monument Piano Trio – comprised of Dariusz Skoraczewski (BM ’94, GPD ’96, Cello), Michael Sheppard (BM ’98, MM ’01, GPD ’03, Piano), and Kaya Bryla (GPD ’05, AD ’11, Violin; GPD ’08, Chamber Music) – and featured in a concert presented by Music in the Great Hall on Sunday, April 24 at 2:00 pm at Towson Unitarian Universalist Church. The program features Brahms’s Piano Trio No. 1 in B Major and solo pieces performed by each of the fellows.
