Composition student Jun An Chew, computer music and recording arts master’s student Edwin Huet (BM ’15 Computer Music Composition), and GPD jazz bass student Alex Fournier will present Perspective Refractions, a concert of graphic score interpretations through alternating chamber music, free jazz, and live and fixed multichannel electronic mediums. The program is comprised of nine pieces total, with three interpretations per composer/medium of each score, and one score per composer. The concert is on Monday, May 9 at 7:00 pm at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, and features performances by Peabody students Alan Choo (MM ’14, Early Music, Violin), violin, Ya-Chun Chung, piano, Alex Fournier, bass, Ledah Finck, violin, Christopher Frick, french horn, piano, Edwin Huet, electronics, Brenda Koh, violin, Christina Manceor, percussion, Kimberlyn Wu, violin, Tzu-Jou Yeh (MM ’15, Cello), cello, and Phoon Yu, organ. Tickets are $10 at the door.
