Brandon Woody Named 2016-2017 Brubeck Institute Fellow

photo-1Preparatory student Brandon Woody was named one of five 2016-2017 Brubeck Fellows by The Brubeck Institute. The Brubeck Institute’s Fellowship Program is a one or two-year full-scholarship program in jazz performance for up to five musicians who have just graduated from high school who comprise the Brubeck Institute Jazz Quintet. The fellows study with institute faculty, visiting jazz educators, artists, clinicians, and Bay Area professionals. They perform extensively throughout the U.S. and abroad in universities, high schools, civic centers, on concert series, in clubs, and on jazz festivals.
