Devin Gray (BM ’06, Jazz Percussion) released a new CD, Fashionable Pop Music, with Ryan Ferreira, Jonathan Goldberger, and Chris Tordini. The album is available on Bandcamp and iTunes. Video trailers are up on Mr. Gray’s Youtube channel. Mr. Gray’s band Dirigo Rataplan, comprised of Ellery Eskelin, tenor saxophone, Dave Ballou, trumpets, and faculty member Michael Formanek, bass, have announced an IBeam Brooklyn concert residency, and are preparing to record their second album together. Dirigo Rataplan will play their new book of music for two sets a night on Friday and Saturday, June 17-18 at IBeam Brooklyn at 8:30 pm and 9:30 pm each night.
