Netanel Draiblate Founder and Director of Annapolis Symphony Academy

DraiblateNetanel Draiblate (MM ’07, GPD ’09, Violin) is the founder and director of the Annapolis Symphony Academy, which will launch Fall 2018. The academy is run by the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra, and half of its students will be African-American or Hispanic-Latino. The goal of the academy is not only to provide affordable classical music training, but to work to help diversify the classical music world, starting from a young age. The program will strive to prepare young students to get into undergraduate programs and thus into the professional world. Draiblate is the symphony orchestra’s concertmaster.
